The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed concerning the high number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher amount status sassa of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The company point designed for intervention activities a superior inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to help the servicing of all prospects and maximize usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
